Inline Skates
Inline skating is a fast-paced and fun sport which develops athleticism and co-ordination. The vital components to be considered in a pair of skates are the wheels, bearings, and chassis. Bearing precision is measured on the 1-9 ABEC scale, with a higher number indicating a smoother and higher quality ride. Wheel hardness is measured on a scale which runs from 78A to 93A; again, the higher the harder. Larger wheels generally allow higher speeds, but smaller wheels permit greater acceleration and control.
